TrakSYS Basic Training Courses

The TrakSYS Basic Training Course is a 3-day instructor-led class which provides the participants with a fundamental overview of the concepts and terms associated with TrakSYS.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to configure TrakSYS to effectively address their productivity improvement and decision support requirements. The course will concentrate on tracking, monitoring, and reporting production events and activities. The participant will develop an understanding of why and how TrakSYS is utilized as a real-time operations and performance management tool. The course will also teach how to retrieve and report key performance indicator (KPI) data and other business intelligence that can optimize production processes using the WEBTrak Knowledge Management Portal.

TrakSYS Advanced Training Courses

The TrakSYS Advanced Training Course is an instructor-led class designed for experienced users with a working knowledge of TrakSYS fundamentals. This class introduces additional functionality and capabilities not covered in the Basic Training Course, and teaches participants how to customize and extend the functionality of the base TrakSYS solution using a variety of development methods and techniques.

Upon completion of the 2-day Advanced Training Course, participants will develop a comprehensive knowledge of different TrakSYS development tools, scripts, extensions, and other advanced configuration options. They will gain expertise in deploying TrakSYS solutions in the areas of Batching, Recipe Management, and Inventory Management. Participants will also learn how to customize TrakSYS user interfaces and reports to meet specific solution requirements, as well as how to integrate TrakSYS with different external business systems and applications.

The following skillsets are recommended for Advanced Training participants:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
  • T-SQL query writing experience
  • HTML and Javascript development experience
  • Visual Basic .NET or C#.NET programming experience
