Job description:
Parsec, the developer of TrakSYS™ the industry leading real-time performance management
software for manufacturing, is looking for an experienced, motivated, entrepreneurial software
sales executive with approx. 5 - 10 years total sales experience, including at least 2 years of
complex/enterprise software sales experience. The application suite is an industry leader in
rapidly growing market with great references from world-class users.
The nature of the position will favor an individual with strong enterprise software sales experience
in the manufacturing sector (pharmaceutical, food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, automotive, etc.),
accomplished verbal and written communication skills, resourcefulness and the ability to call at a high
level to complete the sales based on merits and ROI. Positions available in various geographies.
Can work from a home office (must be disciplined). The sales cycle is 3 to 6 months. Position opening
is due to growth / expansion.

Job description:
Position involves providing consulting and implementation services related to
TrakSYS™, the industry leading real-time performance management software for
manufacturing. This data collection / performance management solution directly
aligns with many manufacturing companies’ objectives related to World Class Manufacturing,
Lean Manufacturing, TPM, OEE, Asset Utilization, and Six Sigma.
Applicants should have a B.S. degree in Software or Control Engineering and a
minimum of 3 years of programming and work experience in a related field.
Must have working knowledge of one of the following programming languages and tools:
- Microsoft.NET Development (C#.NET or VB.NET)
- Microsoft SQL Server Development
- WEB Development (HTML, XML, and JAVA Scripting)
Duties will include, but not be limited to, working with clients to determine needs,
translating those needs to the capabilities of the software package, and installing and
implementing the software. Must have experience with networking, communication
protocols and hands-on commissioning. Knowledge and background in Control
Engineering, Process Engineering or Manufacturing is a definite plus. Excellent
writing and verbal communication skills are required.

Position involves extensive travel, both in the US and abroad.
