Official Rules for Book Offer:

Download a Whitepaper and enter to win one of three Parsec recommended books on OEE. Official Rules are:

1. Entrant must be over 18 years of age and an employee responsible for the manufacturing production of their organization. Employees of Parsec Automation and affiliated companies and members of those employees' immediate families are not eligible.
2. In order to be eligible to win one of three free books on OEE, entrant must download our “What are the Pitfalls of Doing a 'Back of the Envelope' Calculation of OEE?” whitepaper and provide a valid email address. The whitepaper is provided free of charge. Winner will be notified by email and must provide a valid mailing address for delivery of the book and the book they selected from the three approved books.
3. Prize: One of the three following recommended books on OEE (as described on the offer page). Substitution for any prize may be necessary due to unavailability, in which case a comparable prize of equal or greater value will be awarded
4. Entries must be received by deadline noted on specific contest page. Contest drawings are held once a month beginning February 18, 2005. The prize will be ordered within 15 days of the drawing and shipped to arrive within 6 weeks, depending on availability of the chosen book
5. One entry per person. In the case of multiple entries, only the first entry will be accepted. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the e-mail account.
6. Parsec Automation is not responsible for technical failures in or lost, late, misdirected, damaged, or incomplete entry transmissions. Parsec Automation is not responsible for any damage to participant's computer occasioned by participation in the promotion or downloading any information necessary to participate in the promotion.
7. Winner will be notified by e-mail or telephone within 30-days of the drawing.
8. Any prize or prize notification returned to the sponsor as undeliverable will result in the awarding of that prize to an alternate winner. Odds of winning depend on number of entries received.
9. Except as required by law, Parsec Automation will not share entrant information with any third parties. Parsec Automation may contact entrants in the future with offers we feel may be of interest. Any claims relating to this drawing must be resolved in the United States.
