Parsec Automation has appointed Suzanne Rudnitzki as Chief Executive Officer, marking a leadership transition as the manufacturing software company prepares for its next phase of global growth. Founder and longtime CEO Eddy Azad has moved into the role of Executive Chairman, where he will continue supporting the company’s long-term strategy, customer relationships and product direction.

The transition became effective June 1 and follows nearly four decades of leadership by Azad, who founded Parsec in 1987. Under his leadership, the company evolved from an industrial automation software startup into a global provider of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) technology, serving manufacturers in highly regulated and complex production environments.

“When I started Parsec 39 years ago, the goal was never simply to automate machines. It was to help manufacturers operate with greater visibility, intelligence, and control,” Azad said. “What began as an effort to bridge operational blind spots evolved into a globally trusted platform supporting some of the world’s leading manufacturers. As Parsec enters its next chapter, this is the right time to transition day-to-day leadership to Suzanne.”

Azad founded the company after identifying a gap between traditional automation systems and the operational intelligence manufacturers needed to improve performance across increasingly complex production operations. Over the years, he led the development of TrakSYS, Parsec’s flagship manufacturing operations management platform, which is now deployed in thousands of factories across more than 140 countries.

The leadership change comes as manufacturers continue investing in digital transformation initiatives aimed at improving operational visibility, standardization and performance across global production networks. Demand for manufacturing execution systems has increased as companies seek to connect data from equipment, facilities and business systems to support more informed operational decisions.

Rudnitzki brings extensive experience leading global technology organizations through periods of expansion and transformation. Her background includes executive leadership roles across enterprise software, technology-enabled services and payments businesses, where she has served as chief executive officer, chief operating officer and board advisor.

Throughout her career, she has focused on operational execution, organizational alignment, customer growth and scaling technology-driven businesses. At Parsec, she will oversee overall corporate strategy, execution and international expansion efforts while guiding the company’s continued investment in manufacturing software and operational intelligence technologies.

“Parsec has built an exceptional reputation within the manufacturing industry through deep domain expertise, long-standing customer relationships, and a reputation for solving complex manufacturing challenges,” Rudnitzki said. “Manufacturers today are navigating increasing complexity across operations, workforce, data, and global production environments, and the need for intelligent, connected manufacturing systems continues to grow.”

Under Rudnitzki’s leadership, Parsec plans to focus on advancing the capabilities of its MES and operational intelligence platform, strengthening customer partnerships and expanding its global reach. The company also intends to continue investing in cloud technologies, AI-enabled operational intelligence and connected manufacturing capabilities as industrial organizations modernize production environments.

The transition reflects broader changes occurring across the manufacturing sector, where companies are increasingly using software platforms to unify operational data, improve efficiency and support decision-making across multiple facilities. Manufacturers are also exploring how artificial intelligence can help accelerate time-to-value from production data and improve operational performance.

Parsec’s long-term product strategy remains centered on the philosophy established by Azad: providing unified manufacturing operations software that simplifies complexity and delivers actionable insights across production environments. That approach has helped establish TrakSYS as a widely adopted platform for manufacturers seeking greater visibility into operations, quality, compliance and resource utilization.

Today, TrakSYS supports manufacturers across a wide range of industries by helping reduce production costs, optimize resources, improve quality and enhance profitability. As organizations continue investing in connected factories and data-driven operations, Parsec is positioning itself to capitalize on growing demand for software that bridges operational execution with advanced analytics and intelligence.

With Azad remaining actively involved as Executive Chairman and Rudnitzki assuming day-to-day leadership responsibilities, Parsec is aiming to build on its manufacturing technology heritage while expanding its presence in a market increasingly focused on digital operations, AI-enabled insights and scalable manufacturing performance.
